First look

Have you ever thought of seeing and discovering each other before the ceremony?

Often, the couple don't want to meet before the ceremony, to respect the tradition and to have the surprise of seeing each other just in front of the altar.
Should we change the trend? For some years now, this new addition has been installed in weddings : seeing each other before the ceremony, creating a situation of discovery, so that the couple can take full advantage of the moment, away from prying eyes (perhaps leaving room for a few tears)

I always propose to the couples I work with to do a "first look" session before the ceremony, I find that there are a lot of advantages. A "first look" session allows the bride and groom to discover themselves in an intimate and reserved environment: a moment all for them, away from the eyes of the guests and in a moment of total calm, before the frenzy.
It is a very romantic moment, very rich in emotions and dedicated exclusively to the couple.
You can decide how to discover yours spouse: in the middle of nature, behind a door, blindfolded or reading a love letter. In short, in the way that characterizes you the most.
And last but not least, it allows your photograph to take beautiful photos.

Obviously, it is not a thing for everyone: some couples want to respect tradition and see themselves only in front of the altar. Or it is important for them that the family is present when the couple first sees each other.

One thing is fundamental: it is YOUR day and you have to do what makes you feel good, without anxiety, without pressure.

Do you have doubts? Talk to your photographer, he will surely be happy to see with you the best time of the day for your couple photos!

An escape on the beach to free the soul. Everything remains the same but everything has changed.
We have a new home waiting for us in a month. I don't want to leave but I can't stay.
Our favorite bar, a second home, where to stay an entire afternoon. A place that will be missed.

When life becomes too oppressive, my way of salvation is always the same: the sea.
So a couple of weeks ago, realizing that I was struggling to concentrate after a stressful week, I took the car and I went two days to Almuñecar, a small village on the Costa Tropical, in Andalusia, where in early March it was already warm enough to stay on the beach and let the sun color the skin.

Three days of holiday at the beach, friends visiting from Italy, walks and a lot of sun, Granada is filled with spring.

Years ago, I liked to keep track of my year with a song and a text a month. This year I decided to start over and add some images of each month to the music.
This is my January:
'paper kites', bread, music and projects for the future..

I must admit, when Camille wrote me the address for her wedding in rue du chateau (castle road) I didn't understand that the preparation and the reception would have been at the castle!
A beautiful sunny day in the countryside in the Pas-de-Calais department, emotions and some tears of excitement for Camille and Olivier day.
They are so much in love that you can really feel it.

Summer restyling

Summertime, the perfect moment to refresh my website: as you can see, this website has a totally new look!
To celebrate I've decided to create a small contest to win a photo shoot or a professional retouch on a photo of your choice!

In the middle of the spanish desert, between Zaragoza and Lleida, every summer, for a week, there is a community that builds itself upon Burning Man principles.

I’ve known about Burning Man years ago but never looked deeply into it before 2013.
That year I was going to Australia, I was meeting friends there. One of them suggested going to Burning Seed, the regional australian Burning Man.

It has been a beautiful discovery, a new way to see the world.

So, in 2014, we decided to go together to Nowhere.
The two burns are following the same principles but are quite different, while in Australia everything happens in a forest, with tree and shades and a nice weather, the challenging climate of Spain in summer, the dust and the strong wind contribute in creating an ephemeral atmosphere.
It's a completely new world that creates and destroy in a week, leaving no trace, as one of the principles: when leaving the site must be exactly as it was before.
People are free to be exactly what they dream to be, everything is magic.
And you can build your own experience, from deciding to have a week of yoga and meditation, unconditional love and personal development, to have a crazy week of dance, party, no sleep and unconditional love (yes, that's a constant).

And here we are, in a month I'll be here again, looking forward to this new experience, ready for the challenge, the laughs, the music, and, of course, the unconditional love.
